Boxes of Love 2011
December 17th, 2011 at 10am: 17th Annual Boxes of Love event! This year, help us to give out 350 Boxes of Love to low income families and seniors in our community. Every Woman IS Beautiful
May 9, 2011: 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Don't miss this inspiring free event celebrating Every Woman IS Beautiful! Being emceed by the lovely Dawn Chubai of CityTV's Breakfast Television and including belly dance performances by Luciterra, delicious dessert by Northwest Culinary Academy, a Fashion Show, inspiring success stories, fabulous door prizes, gift bags and more!

BC Lions support CityReach Care Society
May 11th from 6 to 8pm, BC Lions will be at Boston Pizza on Grandview Highway providing autographs in return for a non-perishable food item or a loonie. Proceeds will be donated to CityReach Care Society.
Boston Pizza supports CityReach Care Society
June 5th from noon to 3pm, 10% of all dine-in, take-out and delivery proceeds go to CityReach Care Society.

This year, help us give out 300 Boxes of Love
to families in need in East Vancouver
This is an awesome opportunity to experience the joy of giving - to see the smiles of delight as you deliver gifts and a full turkey dinner to a family in need who otherwise would have gone without.Please join us!
Saturday December 18th, at 10 am at the Warehouse, (2650 Slocan Street, Vancouver) to pack the food items, wrap the gifts and then deliver the boxes. All the food, gifts, gift wrap, etc. will be provided. This is a family friendly event, so please bring any children along to help!
Register and make a Contribution!
To make this possible, we need help with financial contri-butions towards a Box of Love (food plus age appropriate gifts for each child costs approximately $100). Please see the other side of this flyer for further details.Thank you for giving this year!

Vancouver City Councillor supports Food for Families

CityReach Care Society (CityReach), a non-profit organization that strives to empower families to move from poverty to prosperity, is pleased to announce that Ellen Woodsworth, Vancouver City Councillor, will be volunteering at the ‘Food for Families’ program, one of the city’s largest weekly food banks. Recognizing that the first step towards prospering in all areas of life begins with a healthy diet, Woodsworth and CityReach would like to raise awareness of the program as it focuses on providing nutritional food to families in need.

Olympic Ticket Giveaway

On Thursday, February 4th at 10am, CityReach Care Society (CityReach), the non-profit that that strives to empower families to move from poverty to prosperity, will be holding an exclusive draw for tickets to the 2010 Winter Games for the participants of their Food for Families food bank.
The Celebrate 2010 Program is providing tickets to CityReach and many other community organizations to ensure that those people with limited financial means are given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the Games. The Vancouver 2010 mascots Miga and Quatchi will also provide an incredible surprise by turning up.

Sunday December 20th, at 12:20 pm in the gym of Broadway Church (2700 East Broadway). Following a quick complimentary lunch we’ll pack the food items, wrap the gifts and deliver the boxes to the families and seniors. All the food, gifts, gift wrap, etc. will be provided. This is a family friendly event, so please bring any children along to help!
