Food for Families is a nutritious food bank for low income households in the communities of East Vancouver and Port Coquitlam. We serve wholesome and nutritious food including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, proteins and grains.

Our Vancouver food banks serve qualifying families weekly on Tuesday nights, between 5:30pm-8pm, and Thursday mornings between 9am-12pm. 

Seniors Day. Monthly we offer a Senior’s Day for qualifying senior’s to receive food on the third Tuesday of each month during our regular food bank for families.

Mobile Food Bank. Our Mobile food bank in Port Coquitlam serves qualifying households out of two locations and operates twice a month, on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1331 Fraser Ave at Birchland Elementary between 2:30pm-4pm, and on the 4th Thursday of each month at 1932 Cameron Ave between 3pm-5pm.

How Do I Sign Up? To become a member at any of our Food for Families food banks, registration in person and a one-time membership fee of $5 is required.

Bulk Buying is a program that provides easy access to fresh produce once a month. Open to anyone interested in healthy and cost efficient food, for only $13.00 you will receive an assortment of 8+ different fruits and vegetables.  Contents vary each month depending on what is in season and our participant registration. Pick up is the third Wednesday of each month from 2pm - 5:30pm. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
