I am blessed to be part of an amazing team looking after a group of fantastic kids for Out of School Program at CityReach. As a full-time Program Leader, I also assist with administrative tasks like registration and planning for our after school program and all of our day camps! I love getting to be a part of the CityReach team, and be able to work with our team to make our programs, facilities, school partnerships and community relations the best they can be. I get to work both behind the scenes and up front with incredible people to see our mission to reach individuals and families come to life!

As the Assistant Director, I assist in the leading, oversight, and implementing of a creative and interactive age-appropriate children’s program. I find a lot of joy in facilitating activities with the children in our Out of School Care Program. It has been a privilege to witness the lessons they learn and relationships they build with each other. It is an honor to watch each child grow as an individual and support their relationship with each other, staff, and activities in a fun and meaningful ways.

I feel so honoured to be part of such a wonderful team at the Out of School Care Program. It is truly a blessing to serve and care for the children in the program, and I hope my work at CityReach continues to make a positive impact on all the families. I am passionate about fostering a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where every child can thrive. It brings me so much joy to see their growth and to play a role in their journey!

Hello my name is Daniel and I am the Director of Operations here at CityReach! I love bringing people together for one purpose and to build powerful teams. Here at CityReach, we are in the business of HOPE. Our Hope Business is radiating throughout our city, and it fills my heart to see the people we impact on a weekly basis.

Hello! I’m really happy to be part of this amazing team that is committed to helping and serving families. I’ve always loved connecting with people, and as Mobile Manager, I’m able to get to know our guests and volunteers at all of our sites (Surrey, Tri-Cities, Delta and South Vancouver). As a good Brazilian, I love barbecue, so feel free to invite me! I believe being in the Hope Business means sharing God’s love, meeting people’s needs, and showing that someone cares for them.

I have the honor of working as the Logistics Coordinator and truck driver. My mission here is bringing hope and sharing God’s love by providing sustenance and care to people in vulnerable situations. My work goes beyond the practical tasks of receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing food. I approach each part with the joy of knowing that I am contributing to something greater. Being part of this dedicated team and witnessing the impact we have on so many lives gives me a deep sense of fulfillment. At CityReach, I feel motivated not only by this organization’s mission but also by the greater purpose that guides every action. Together, with faith and dedication, we strive to be a light and bring hope to those who need it most.

I’m honoured to be working at Cityreach's amazing out of school care program as a Program Leader. It is a blessing to be able to build relationships and connections with the kids and staff as we walk alongside each other daily. I am looking forward to continue pouring into the kids and to see what God has in store for all who are a part of this program.

I have the privilege of serving as a Case Manager and Chaplain for Vancouver and the Tri-Cities. Through my role at Club Freedom, I have the opportunity to meet with people one-on-one and discuss their immediate and future needs, as well as walk closely with them to assist with their housing, financial, physical, and spiritual needs. It is a blessing to be able to help people with their basic needs, while also offering spiritual counsel and direction to those who need it.

Hi! I help those facing homelessness, addictions, or mental illness in our community. Together with a dedicated team, we offer not just food but also spiritual support. Every Sunday, we host a worship service followed by a lovingly prepared meal for about 150 guests. I also offer listening and advice throughout the week.

I have the privilege of leading the CityReach Bees program. Our team of dedicated beekeepers manages multiple hives that pollinate our neighbourhood and produce hyper-local honey for CityReach initiatives. I’m passionate about collaborating with God’s creation towards a higher purpose — supporting our pollinators, environmental stewardship, and engaging our community in hands-on beekeeping education!

Hi! I am grateful to be a member of the CityReach staff, working with the Food For Families team. We have an a amazing group of colleagues and volunteers who serve the community together across Greater Vancouver, and bring hope to those families that are in need.

Witnessing the transformative impact of CityReach's efforts truly inspires me. It is a privilege that I get to help raise the much-needed funds to ensure that all our programs can continue to do their good works, giving HOPE to all they serve. The dedication and passion that drive these initiatives are truly remarkable, and I am honored to be a part of such meaningful work.

I’ve had the privilege of serving at the Thursday Care Tent of Food for Families for the last few years. This involves getting to know our guests as they pick up their food. We want our guests to feel that receiving their food hampers is a personal and positive experience. I love chatting with them, following their lives and being able to help them in practical ways with friendship and care. Our Care Tent is an important step in the “Pathway to Prosper”.

I lead volunteers and organize food and hamper distributions, creating meaningful connections with volunteers, partners, and guests. I work with a passionate team and see incredible opportunities to be used by God to offer relief, helping people have one less worry in their day. Each encounter is a chance to listen, understand, and connect - sharing God's love. I believe God guides us to be a bridge, impacting and bringing hope to the lives we connect with. If you see me around, please come say "Hi" - I would love to meet you!

I am honoured to work alongside schools in our community, ensuring they feel supported and valued. My goal is to demonstrate through tangible actions that they are genuinely cared for, while bringing hope for both the present and the future. I also assist the Development team with database management, donor communications, and administrative coordination.

As a Case Manager for Club Freedom, I work closely with outreach teams to support individuals through their difficulties (homelessness, addictions, mental health, food, clothing, etc.) and walk alongside them toward independence and self-sufficiency. Every day is a new opportunity I get to witness the resilience and strength of individuals as they strive to overcome obstacles to reach their goals. Building genuine relationships and providing practical resources allows me to make a meaningful impact in their lives. It’s rewarding to celebrate their successes, no matter how small, and to be a part of their transformative journeys. Ultimately, knowing that our team contributes to a brighter future for those in need drives my passion for this work.
