TOGETHER, WE HELPED BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER TO FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY
On Saturday, December 16th, 2023, we celebrated the holidays with hundreds of families at our Boxes of Love event. This event was held simultaneously in two different locations: Vancouver and the Tri-cities, as well as special distribution to our supported families in Surrey.
It was such an amazing day! We had arts and crafts, cookie-decorating, photo booths, a special presentation and so much more.
Because this time of year can often heighten the realities of poverty, grift and isolation for families, Boxes of Love was an opportunity for us to shine the light of hope and come alongside hundreds of vulnerable families to remind them they are not alone, bring new joy to their children, and make Christmas a little merrier.
Your generosity brought families a deluxe Christmas package including gifts for each child and a grocery gift card, a fun-family event and one month’s worth of nutritious food support through our Food for Families program.
