Father and son brave the snow, walking 23 km from Port Coquitlam to Vancouver for the Coldest Night of the Year campaign. This annual event raises funds for the needy, with a virtual edition encouraging solo walks. CityReach Care Society aims to raise $150,000 to support their growing food hamper program during the pandemic.

Broadway Church has provided over $2 million in donated food since the pandemic began, offering hope and support to Vancouver’s most vulnerable families.

Homelessness is at an all-time high in Metro Vancouver with more than 36 people without a place to call home. It's a statistic that organizers on the coldest side of the year want to lower. The Family Friendly Walk supports charities serving hungry and homeless people.
